3. After browsing the introductory page and photos, which country sounds the most interesting to you? (Remember Belize is not an option-they speak English.)
 

4. Take notes here on the required information for your country.

From the Culture and Food page:

Give at least one interesting fact about your country.
 
 

Name at least two things you will eat/drink there (Panama may not have this info.) 
 
  

From the Location and Climate page:

Describe the location of your country in Central America in relation to the other countries. For example, it is next to Honduras or it is between Mexico and ...)
 
 

Give one major geographical characteristic, for example: they have volcanoes, a rainforest, a desert, beaches, etc.
 
 

What animals and/or plants might you see (flora=plants and fauna=animals)
 
 

What is the weather like at this time of year? Look at the months they give for each season (wet and dry) and figure out what season they are in.

Name at least three places you will visit in this country and describe each of them. These places cannot all be in the same city; you must visit more than one city in your country.

 Sending a Postcard
  1. Once you have clicked on the site to send a postcard, click on the country that you researched from the map.
  2. Next to the country map on the next screen, click on send a postcard.
  3. Choose a photo you like and and click on it.
  4. Then add the info you need (name, email, etc.)
  5. Send a copy of the postcard to your home email address as well to show to your parents. (You can do this by putting a comma after my email address and adding your home email address. )

Be sure to include the following information in your postcard:

  1. "Hello" and "Goodbye" in Spanish
  2. The weather there at this time of year
  3. What you have eaten
  4. Places that you have visited
  5. Things (monuments, animals, etc.) that you have seen
  6. Activities that you have done

*Preview your postcard before you send it to check for names, spelling and details.
